Jodilyn Ogawa

Legacy Builder

Jodilyn Ogawa is passionate about using her time, talents and expertise to serve others.  As a businesswoman, mom and wife, Jodi strives to be of SERVICE to her clients, community, family and God.  Born and raised on the island of Oahu, Hawaii, Jodi’s values are deeply rooted in her upbringing and her island life.  Her father, a successful businessman, taught her perseverance and the gusto to make your dreams become a reality.  Her mother truly embodied the Spirit of Aloha and taught her the importance of community, family and service to others.

Real estate is in her DNA.  She is the third generation in the real estate industry.  Her grandfather began building homes in Hawaii prior to WWII and taught his son how to build a good home.  After a 50-year career in real estate, her father built over 13,000 homes, several hotels, commercial properties and the 640-acre master-planned Ko Olina Resort where the Disney Aulani hotel is located.

Just as her father taught her, Jodi strives to empower her clients to achieve their real estate dreams.   Her expertise is in listening to her clients and understanding their real estate goals, whether they are buying, selling or investing.  Jodi and her team are skilled in educating and supporting their clients through every stage of the home selling and home buying process.  Their team uses the best tools and technology to be a leader in the industry.  Jodi is a problem-solver and takes a proactive approach to ensure a smooth and timely closing through constant communication with her clients and all parties to the transaction.

Jodi is an Iolani School Alumni (President Obama’s rival high school).  She also studied at the University of Southern California, graduating from the USC Leventhal School of Accounting.  Using her financial background, Jodi’s career led her to excel in the boardrooms of the family businesses.  As the Controller of a non-profit organization with the mission of serving the families of Hawaii, she helped the organization to double its size in a few years to reach $22 million annual revenue, overseeing 100 contracts and employing 450 people.  When Jodi and her husband built a small restaurant from the ground up, she absolutely loved getting to know their customers and decided working directly with clients was her passion.  After selling the restaurant and relocating to California to be closer to family, Jodi’s passion to work with in the best, lead her to Keller Williams.

It was love at first sight when Jodi met her husband Jeff at USC.  After graduating, they moved to Hawaii, got married on the beach at sunset and raised their children playing on the shores of Hawaii.  Their greatest joy is spending quality family time with their children and living the California dream.
